SKF MTRX bearings – a new standard for reliability and durability

In principle, they can be used wherever there is high contamination with dust, mud and regular cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner (wapka). SKF Solid Oil technology is used in MTRX bearings. It means that instead of a classic plastic lubricant, the space between the rolling elements is filled with a polymer that is impregnated with a high-quality synthetic oil resistant to oxidation. The lubricant is heated and released during the movement of the rolling particles. Compared to classic bearings, the amount of lubricant is more than doubled and it is not necessary to relubricate it. Thanks to this, it protects the individual parts of the bearings and leads to their longer service life even in extreme conditions.

Dust, mud and water!

What would a ride be without dust and mud? No fun for you or your bike. Cleaning a bike with MTRX bearings with soapy water? Not a problem. Bearings with SKF Solid Oil technology are resistant to water, and the oil that is impregnated in the polymer cannot be washed out with a pressure washer. It is also impossible to contaminate both the oil and the polymer with water.

Why should I use MTRX bearings from SKF:

In classic bearings filled with plastic grease, contamination and washing out of the grease and subsequent corrosion of the rolling parts and bearing orbits occur. This leads to seizure of the bearings and their subsequent replacement.
