Flat drive toothed belts are designed for machine and equipment drives. They are primarily used to transfer torque between the pulleys and at the same time ensure synchronisation with maximum possible efficiency. The efficiency of toothed drives is higher than that of V-belts and is around 98-99%. The wide range of profiles, materials and tensile fibres allows their use in all performance and speed ranges. They are classified according to material, tooth profile and width. An important criterion is also the traction cord, which guarantees maintenance-free operation of the drives.
